About Us
Meet Alexis, the owner and founder of Adventure 58.
A Churchill local and a passionate advocate for responsible tourism in the North, Alexis is an experienced outdoor tourism professional. She has spent years living and working in the subarctic, where she raises her daughter Allie with the same values that she created Adventure 58 around: wildlife awareness and education, community-driven conservation, and stewardship of the north. Her business is one of the many ways she honours the unique place they call home.
With safety as our foundation and wildlife at the heart of what we do, Adventure 58 is a wildlife monitoring operation rooted in local knowledge and ethical interaction with nature. Community is both a personal and professional value for each of us, and hiring, training, and empowering local youth to join and thrive in the tourism industry is one of our core commitments. Each of our Wildlife Monitors is highly trained and has deep knowledge of Churchill and its nature.
Every experience with Adventure 58 is shaped by a lifetime of connection to Churchill and a deep commitment to preserving it’s beauty—for the next generations of Churchillians, tourists… and polar bears!
